Zero Carbon Footprint

At Kitten Coffee, we are no longer waiting for governments to act on Climate Change. Instead, Kitten Coffee now purchases Emission Offsets from Landcare Carbon Smart, a not for profit organization based in Australia that works with government, industry and individuals to permanently retire carbon emissions.

Kitten Coffee doesn't claim that our calculations are perfect and, to make matters worse, there is no national or international accreditation program for carbon offsets and credits. We wish there was and we know there will be one day. We just don't want to wait. Our research suggests that Landcare Carbon Smart with its partners represent the best bet.

We are one of only two US coffee roasters with a Zero Carbon Footprint. We hope more will join us.

And guess what - it costs us less than 2 cents per pound of coffee. That didn't hurt too much now did it.
