Kitten Coffee

Kitten Coffee is now holding monthly workshops for the home Espresso Enthusiast. Over three hours on a Sunday afternoon at our Barista Training Center in Brooklyn you'll be taken all the way from the mountains of Ethiopia to a short macchiato and stop at all the espresso highlights along the way. This workshop is designed to help home baristas make a better shot and help espresso lovers hunt down the best shots in New York.

During the workshop we will:

• Discuss cultivation.
• Look at processing green bean.
• Roast some green bean - You'll be the roaster! First crack, second crack, Fire!
• Learn how to handle and store the precious bean.
• Learn about grinders and grinding.
• Discuss the golden rules for the perfect shot.
• Drive a commercial machine.

It's a fun, inclusive and informative afternoon that is guaranteed to ruin you as you'll be sending bad espressos back time and time again until you find a great Barista.
